We look forward to welcoming you to Brighton Racecourse for a day of exhilarating flat turf racing and entertainment. We hope this guide gives you a good overview of all that's taking place today, and answers any questions you may have.

Gates and concessions open – 12:20pm
Ridleys Funfair – from 12:20pm at Sliver Ring
Face painters – 12:20pm at Sliver Ring
Brighton & Hove Albion FC Foundation Inflatable goal – from 12:20pm at the grass area near Sliver Ring
First race – 2:22pm
Last race – 5:22pm
TRAVEL:
Please allow extra time to travel to and from the racecourse. If travelling by car, there is plenty of free parking available onsite.
Brighton Train Station is less than an hour from London and less than two miles away from the racecourse.

ENTERTAINMENT:
We have a wide selection of great family entertainment throughout the day including a selection of Fun Fair rides such as bumper cars, teacup ride, play zone, land zorbs, soft play centre, and children’s carousel. We also have face painters free of charge and a fun inflatable goal game brought by Brighton & Hove Albion FC Foundation.
WEATHER:
The forecast for Sunday afternoon is sunny intervals, with highs of 25 degrees (as of Friday 30th August). Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly!
FOOD & DRINK:
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which case we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.
SECURITY:
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
PAYMENT:
Please remember, that all of food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for betting purposes. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
