Welcome to your essential guide to our Festival of Racing Ladies Day!
We look forward to welcoming you to Brighton Racecourse for a day of exhilarating flat turf racing and live entertainment. We hope this guide gives you a good overview of all that's taking place today, and answers any questions you may have.

Gates and concessions open – 12:30pm
Ultraswing Roaming Band – from 12:30pm around the Racecourse
Style Awards opens – 12:30pm at flower wall opposite the Information Kisok
Moxie Dolls live performance – from 12:30pm in the Ladies Day Marquee
MyCharleston Dancers – from 12:30pm around the Racecourse
First race – 2:30pm
Last race – 5:30pm
TRAVEL:
Please allow extra time to travel to and from the racecourse. If travelling by car, there is a free car park available however there are limited spaces so please car share where posible.
Brighton Train Station is less than an hour from London and less than two miles away from the racecourse.

ENTERTAINMENT:
We have a wide selection of great entertainment throughout the day including local jazz band Ultraswing, who will be roaming around the racecourse throughout the day. We also have both the Moxie Dolls singers and MyCharleston dancers who will be situated at the Ladies Day Marquee and roaming the racecourse respectively.
STYLE AWARDS:
We also welcome the Style Awards back to our Racecourse which is set up at the Flower Wall located next to the Information Kiosk. The Style Awards is free to enter and awards the best dressed racegoer £250 to whoever finishes first, as well as prizes for those placed second and third.

WEATHER:
The forecast for Thursday afternoon is sunny intervals changing to overcast in the afternoon, with highs of 20 degrees (as of Tuesday 6th August). Please check the local forecast before departing and dress accordingly!
FOOD & DRINK:
A range of bars and food outlets are available serving a variety of tasty food and refreshing drinks. A range of vegetarian and vegan food options will be available across the racecourse. Please be aware that no food, drink or picnics can be brought into the racecourse except in the case of a severe food allergy, in which case we ask you to contact us directly to arrange bringing in your own food.
SECURITY:
We take security and safety very seriously. There will be a strong security presence and you will be subject to a bag search on arrival.
We ask all visitors not to leave bags unattended and to report anything suspicious to a member of staff.
PAYMENT:
Please remember, that all of food outlets and bars are card only but we advise you to also bring cash for betting purposes. There are no cash machines on site so please bear this in mind.
